You will travel on winding streets through rich vegetation consisting of lush woodlands, towering peaks, and pristine rivers. In fact, you can get to see the third highest peak in the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga, which contributes its land with Nepal as well. This adventurous journey will also give you the finest opportunity to learn about the religious heritage of Sikkim and rich culture of this place, which is focused on Buddhism, and also get to know about its implication on the Silk Route. Whether you want to experience snow hills of zero-point, or the virgin forest and landscapes garden, Sikkim is the best place to quench your thirst.

Tour Itinerary :Sikkim Riders

Duration : 10 days

Itinerary :

Day1 :- ARRIVE AT BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/ NJP STATION
Darjeeling Riders team will give you a warm welcome in Bagdogra airport or NJP and set forth on your exciting journey. You will then travel to Siliguri by means of a pre-arranged vehicle, where you will stay overnight and our tour representative will brief you about the upcoming Sikkim tour and procedures.

Day2 :- SILIGURI TO GANGTOK (120 KM/5 HRS)
Head out for the adventure bike tour through the national highway, along Teesta River and enjoy your morning breakfast at Rangpo. Ride through the tea estates, mountains roads till you reach the serene hill station of Gangtok, Sikkim with hotel check-in. Overnight at Gangtok and evening at your own leisure, since Gangtok is one the busiest cities in Sikkim and will enjoy every moment.

Day3 :- GANGTOK TO DZONGU (98 KM/4 HRS)
After breakfast you will ride from Gangtok to Dzongu. On your way visit the famous seven sister’s waterfall, hot water spring and click some memorable pictures. Ride through the city roads and also meet the local people here. You will have lunch at Mahan and overnight stay at hotel in Dzongu

Day4 :- DZONGU TO THANGU (104 KM/5 HRS)
Today you will continue riding from Dzong to Thangu through the small towns, valleys and then through the twisty mountain roads. Today you will have your lunch at Chungthang and once you reach Thangu, rest as much as you can because tomorrow will be a long ride. Overnight at Thangu Hotel.

Day5 :- THANGU TO LACHUNG (120 KM/5 HRS)
Your today's ride with a bit challenging one but you will also enjoy some beautiful views. You will ride from Thangu to Lachung. Visit Chopta Valley & ride to the famous Gurudongmar Lake and spend some time witnessing the amazing beauty at an altitude of 5150 m. Overnight at Lachung.

Day6:- LACHUNG TO GANGTOK (174 KM/5 HRS)
Today you will start your journey from Lachung to Gangtok. After breakfast start riding to the Yumthang Valley, also known as Valley of Flowers. Ride to the Zero Point (Yume Samdong) at an altitude of 15,300 feet and then pass through the thick jungles. As you keep riding you will see the changes in the landscapes which become barren and with snow clad peaks. You will be having lunch at Zero Point. Today, you will be at leisure or you can head out for an exploration in Gangtok. Visit the local markets and buy some souvenirs. Stay overnight in Gangtok.

Day7 :- GANGTOK TO ZULUK (91 KM/ 3 HRS)
Today you will leave early towards the East Sikkim on the Gangtok - Nathula highway, also a part of ‘Old Silk Route’ via Nathula Pass. Enjoy a hot cup of tea and snacks at Tsongmo (Changu) Lake. The 56 hairpin bends of Zuluk at an altitude of 10000 ft will definitely test you today. You will have lunch in Nathang Valley and overnight at hotel in Zuluk.

Day8 :- ZULUK TO KALIMPONG (82 KM/ 4 Hrs)
As you start descending, you will witness the view of mysterious mountain range. It’s absolute delight riding from Zuluk to Kalimpong via Aritar. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in Kalimpong.

Day9 :- KALIMPONG TO SILIGURI
Your tour will almost come to an end once you reach West Bengal. Reach Siliguri by evening and celebrate your incredible journey of 9 days. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day10 :- DEPARTURE FROM SILIGURI
Today you bid farewell to the Himalayas and your riding buddies. Head back home with lots of memories. End of tour.

Refundable security deposit for motorbike INR 10000. Personal expenses, alcoholic beverages, personal medicines, laundry, telephone calls, tips.
Costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, road conditions bad weather, and any other circumstances beyond our control. Any items/services not specifically mentioned under inclusions.
Cost of petrol and spare parts of any kind.

  • Below 6 years – Complementary but should remain under strict supervision of parents at all times 7 to 12 yrs – 50% of the adult rate
  • Above 12yrs – Full adult rate

  • All cancellations have to be done in writing and the following cancellations charges of the total package price will be deducted/charge:

  • 21-30 days - 40%
  • 11-20 days - 65%

  • Customer is responsible for general maintenance once the bike is handed over and should report mechanical failures immediately. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damages due to negligence in motorcycle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance.

  • Generally there will be no substitution of motorcycles after handover to customer.

  • Bikes need to be returned as per the date and time mutually agreed upon or between working hours (9am to 6pm). Advance notification is required if bikes are being returned at a time other than working hours. In Case of failing to return bikes and related documents on time Security deposit fully or partially may be held

  • Payment can be made in cash, cheque, wire transfer or western union.

  • Bookings will be confirmed to reservations only after receiving 50% of the total invoice to guarantee rate and rental dates.
